Haircare Guide

The great thing about The JLCOLLECTION STORE virgin hair is that you can style it as if it was your own hair. You can color it or perm it, blow dry it, brush it, curl it with curling iron. You can flat iron the hair with any hot tools available and style it any way you may like.

Understand that this may dry out your hair extensions and cause excessive shedding and tangles. We cannot guarantee the longevity of any hair that has been processed and/or chemically treated.

Make sure to deep condition the hair after chemically treating your extensions.

Keep the hair clean by washing your hair once a week with cool to warm water. When washing the hair make sure the hair is completely combed through and detangled. And before doing so, we suggest a detangle brush. Also be aware of washing the hair in one direction only (from scap to ends). Circular motions can cause tangling.

Use sulfate-free shampoo to deep clean

When dirt and sweat accumulates, the hair will tangle.

Gnetly brush the hair daily with a paddle bruh or wide-tooth comb from small sections and from the end to your way up.

Do not cut the weftd or tracks of the virgin hair. This will cause shedding. Please use the folding methond when installing the hair OR use a sealant to seal the weft prior to installing.

For curly hair, be sure to brush the hair gently from the bottom to the top daily and apply a leave-in conditioner as well as a curl activator so the hair can remain soft, moisturized and does not frizz.

When styling your extensions, please be carefull not to overuse products on the hair. That may create build-ups on the hair and will cause it to tangle.

Wash the hair immediately after swimming, spa and/or excessive exercise.
